What is Beautycounter?
In a nutshell, Beautycounter develops and produces all natural makeup and skincare products that aim to get clean beauty in the hands of everyone. They’re completely transparent about their process, ingredients and sustainability, packaging, and quality of their products.
One major reason I personally stand behind Beautycounter is their commitment to the mission of making clean beauty not only accessible to everyone, but working to make it a requirement by law. I mean, how many brands do you know have advocated on Capitol Hill to champion for regulation, ingredient transparency, and protections for consumers and the planet? Yeah, me neither.
You can read all about their advocacy efforts here.
Why are you a consultant?
Great question!
I decided to become a consultant because it allows me to affiliate myself and my blog with the clean beauty products I use and love. BC doesn’t have an affiliate network, so becoming a consultant allows me to share the mission of clean beauty meanwhile earning a small commission on any sales. I’m not looking to make this a small business (I have one!) nor am I trying to just push sales on my friends and family. Honestly, it’s about sharing a company I already use and swear by and advocating for healthier living.
Any commissions I earn 100% go towards funding my own Beautycounter obsession!
Okay, Where do I Start?
Make-Up
I shared this post about my simple makeup routine thanks to BCs Flawless in Five set (plus, see some great before & after photos!). I couldn’t recommend it more as a starting place because at it offers you the best value and allows you to swap 6 products instantly.

For $150 ($190 value) this is what you’ll get:
- Skin Twin Foundation OR Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer
- Skin Twin Creamy Concealer
- Brow Pencil OR Brow Gel
- Lengthening Mascara
- Satin Powder Blush
- Beyond Gloss
Skincare
Protecting and nourishing your skin is by far the most important thing you can do as an investment in your overall wellness. Your skin does an important job and BC has a ton of great products to help keep it healthy.

My favorite starting places for skincare are:
- Overnight Resurfacing Peel – this does wonders for my complexion! It’s not a peel in that you apply it and it is peeled off right after (or that your skin melts off), but rather is applied at night and gets to work rebuilding cells, giving you a beautiful glow in the morning.
- Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum – this has been the first in the new Countertime line I’ve tried and have fallen in love. I use this by alternating nights with my Overnight Resurfacing Peel and began to see firm and smoother skin after a few weeks.
